EMMY ™ AWARD-WINNING TV AND FILM VETERAN LISA MAHER JOINS MEDIA2 (M2) AS MANAGING DIRECTOR, PRODUCTION SERVICES AND OPERATIONS
NEW YORK, NY – April 2, 2018 – Media2 (m2), a full-service production company specializing in promotions, broadcast television and sports entertainment media, today announced the appointment of Emmy ™ Award winning TV and film veteran Lisa Maher to the newly created position of Managing Director, Production Services and Operations. In this role, Maher will not only serve as a production manager, but she will also have client relations, business development and industry outreach responsibilities.
Maher comes to m2 having most recently served as an independent television and studio consultant and unit production manager on two films, the independent Ghost in the Graveyard and Lifetime’s High School Lover, starring James Franco. However, she is best known for her work at NBC Sports where for 16 years she facilitated and oversaw the production of live, taped and studio sporting events such as NFL Live, the Super Bowl, Fiesta Bowl, Orange Bowl in football; Wimbledon, French Open and Family Circle Cup tennis tournaments; U.S. Senior Open, Zurich Classic, and Celebrity Championship in golf; horse racing’s Breeders Cup, L’Arc de Triomphe, and Irish Darby; baseball’s World Series; hockey’s NHL All-Star Game; World Cycling Championships; and basketball’s NBA Showtime Pre-Game Show, NBA Finals and All-Star Game.
It was in this role as a supervising production manager at NBC Sports where Maher earned The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences National Sports Emmy™ Award for “Outstanding Live Event Turnaround” for her work on “The Centennial Olympic Games” in Atlanta 1996.

Maher, a graduate of Fordham University, resides in Westchester County, NY with her husband, four children and often several dogs she rescues as part of the SPCA’s Foster and Rehabilitation Program.
